A medical & student pilot certificate is required and must be obtained from an Aviation
Medical Examiner before first solo flight.

+Among other privileges, a student pilot receiving the required training to attain a Private pilot license may carry passengers upon completion of certification.
FAA requirements to be a Private pilot:
1. Must be at least 17 years of age.
2. Must be able to read, speak, write and understand the English language.
3. Must meet the necessary aeronautical experience requirements which include 40 hours of total flight time under Part 61.109.
